17 Mar 2017. He’s not just funny on
stage, but off it too! Part of the Brisbane Comedy Festival

Ross - A Noble
Comedian With My Sketch
This is pretty funny
& random… So I’m sitting front row, centre at a comedy show
at the Empire Theatre, Toowoomba by hilarious British
stand-up comedian Ross Noble.
Late in the first half Ross looks right at me and asks,
“What do you do?”
Me: I’m a designer.
Ross: What sort of things do you design?
Me: I’ll design anything.
Ross: Anything?”
Me: Uhuh.
Ross: So if I asked you to design me a Saint Bernard with
eels for legs you could do it?
Me: Yeah, I’d give it a go.
And not long afterwards intermission came. During the break
I took a piece of paper and did a sketch, leaving it on the
very front of the stage, right in front of where I was
sitting.
When Ross came back out he saw the piece of paper, went
over, picked it up, read it, had a laugh & showed it off to
the audience. He was pretty chuffed!
I asked if I could get
a quick photo (at the very start there had been a big thing
about photography being strictly prohibited). He momentarily
paused the show and happily posed with my artwork. I was the
only person to take a photo of Ross that night, and I got one with Ross holding a drawing of
mine, even if it was only a quick sketch.

Pop Dad
A doting father allows
his two daughters to dress him as Kratos (from computer game
God Of War) and take him to the 2015 Supernova Pop Culture
Expo. Very impressive, but he doesn't look very happy about
it!
Actually he was more than happy to be there, and was pretty
friendly. "RAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!"
